This song was originally known as “Papa Lapped a Pap Lopped”, until the release of the R+RII DVD when the title was changed to “Paparapa Paparapa”. I believe that, like the pseudo-English in Vanilla (which has also been changed to Japanese in the newer releases), “Papa Lapped a Pap Lopped” was never intended to have a meaning in English. It’s most likely to be onomatopoeia for the trumpet section at the beginning of the song.
