What acting role would you like to see GACKT play?

Over the years, GACKT has starred in many movies, plays and TV series, as well as voice acting for anime. With a little mentoring from Ken Ogata, he’s clearly improved since the early days, and it seems like acting will be a significant part of his career from now on. So…

  1. I haven’t thought about this a lot, but anything that involves historical costume is A+ EXCELLENT. I would be interested to see him take on a historical role in a Western-made film, as a Japanese warrior or soldier sometime between the late 1800’s and WWII.*

    *(Think something like “The Last Samurai”, but without the white savior BS.)

  2. Not something I’ve really thought about, but I think I’d like to see him in a fantasy movie or more historical films.

  3. Whatever role he’d be interested in playing, I’d be interested in seeing. Basically, If he’s in it, I’ll watch it. And if I really like it, I’ll watch it again and again and again…

  4. I’d like to see him in a dramedy series. It would be interesting to see him play a role in which he can use a wide range of emotions.

  7. I’d like to see him do a show that discusses historical events. He would trace these events to the geographical locations and talk to the locals and narrate the history of what happened and the effect it had on the region. If they used flashback acting scenes of what happened he would play the main character. This would allow him to teach about history and play a diverse number of roles at the same time.

  8. I think i would like him to play another psycho character or some kind of a vampire prince in the 21st century.

  10. Rather than a particular role, I would like to see you play in a movie that challanges you to act naturally. A romance story of a normal Japanese man falling in love and coming to understand the joy of life.

  11. You know what would be really cool? To see a movie version of one of his concept albums, with him as the lead.

  12. Hmmm….I think I would like to see him playing a role that he is afraid of playing it. Something that would challenge him too much.

  13. I’d like to see him play an action movie that uses cars and involves a very fast driving skill,like Fast and Furious.he likes cars and driving very much,so I want to see him ride the best car,with his best driving skill,in the best action movie

  14. I’d like to seem him take another stab at playing a role in a movie he had a hand in writing again, like Moon Child. And preferably, it would be MOON SAGA-related. 🙂 I know he’s done the plays, but I think it would be fun to see something as a movie instead next.

  15. It would be fun to see GACKT in an action comedy. Like a buddy cop flick or something. ^o^

  16. I am into Tim Burton’s movies so I would really, really want to see him in one of those as a leading actor some time.
    And a historical Japanese warrior role in a Western-made film would also be amazing…

  17. I would like to see him play someone urban and gritty, with a sense of humor. A bit of a thug, if you will. Perhaps a gangster, or a mafia hitman. In the style of The Last Don or The Godfather.

  23. I really want to see him as sadistic crazy murderer but he already did and im in love with him even deeper :3, but that scenes too short >…<
    And i want to see him as a vampire, prince, and king, and leader of some shady cooperation XD
